Special Town Meeting being held to discuss Lloyds Bank closure on Tues 18th April 7:30pm at Tetbury Goods Shed – All welcome

7:30pm Tuesday 18th April
Tetbury Goods Shed

WHY? – To discuss Lloyds Bank’s proposal to close its branch in Long Street, Tetbury – the last branch of any bank in Tetbury

“Tetbury Town Council members are very concerned by the proposal to close the last branch of any bank in the town. Our 5,500 residents and business rely on this branch and it should not be assumed that they can easily access neighbouring towns, nor should it be assumed that electronic banking is the answer. Our town is expected to grow to around 8,000 in the next few years and Lloyds should be aware of those potential new customers. We will be talking with the Chamber of Commerce and other key partners at the earliest opportunity. We are organising a town meeting in Tetbury Goods Shed to discuss the proposed closure, at 7:30pm on Tuesday 18th April.”

All residents and business representatives would be welcome – come and have your say!
